sorry about the lack of posts lately... this past week has just been utter chaos. i finally moved into my dallas apartment (which i love) and have been trying to get everything set up before i start work in two weeks. oh and dont worry, i will definitely be posting pictures of my new apartment once everything is all set up and decorated!

now onto more important things.. like HEELS. ive had a heel infatuation ever since i can remember and let me just say this: higher is better -- none of this kitten heel nonsense. there ive said it, please spread the word. now, ive been wanting a pair of strappy brown leather heels for the longest time and have searched far and wide for the perfect pair; i wanted a pair that could work as easily with a sundress as it would with a pair of skinny jeans. my ultimate desire would've been the miu mius, but alas, they were out of season so i opted for a darker, but just as lovely chinese laundry version, which ive fallen madly in love with. and even more exciting than new heels: two of my very best friends will both be visiting me in the next week -- saying that i am lucky is a complete understatement :) hope everyone else's week is going just as great!

last week i was back in massachusetts to ship some stuff down to dallas; i always have the best time when im home and being able to see old friends is the absolute best. here are a few snapshots of the happiness i experience in new england.

oh and yes... dallas. i am finally here! ill be getting my apartment keys this morning and finally staying put for at least one full year, which is a weird feeling. dont get me wrong -- im so so so very excited to be back in texas, and even moreso, to be near my best friends, but this move is still giving me those pesky anxious butterflies. i think its just because ive been running around the country for the past month so settling down feels like a foreign concept at the moment. i keep telling myself not to worry so much too; there is only so much i can do. i really need to learn to trust god and his perfect plan and not be so impatient about my life -- easier said than done, i guess!

i had absolutely no idea what i was getting myself into when i went to maryland for job training aka "marketing boot camp", but i had so much fun! i met the most amazing people there and i already miss them so much. the entire week was insanely busy, but we did get some time off from the hectic schedule to go to an orioles game! i wont lie.. i was falling asleep towards the end of it because i was so exhausted, but now im back home in massachusetts until friday to (hopefully) rest up before all of the dallas moving insanity starts up. i cant wait to officially be living in texas again, but in the meantime im off to go watch crazy, stupid, love :)
