does anybody remember this song??! i randomly thought of it while putting this post together because when i was little, my friends and i could never figure out what the band was singing, but were somehow convinced that it was "if i was green, i would die" or something along those lines.. saint patty's post. color green. blue song. yea my thought process was reaaal methodical on that one. but man oh man, that song just takes me back to middle school roller rink parties -- ah sweet, sweet memories. anyways, enough rambling, here are some pictures from the parade!
pretty sure we suffered walked enough for the entire year from my incredibly close (sarcasm) parking spot to the parade route. note to selves for next year: do not plan the night before. all complaining aside though, it was great to see the entire city (andthensome) at this spectacle; can't compare it to nawlins mardi gras of course, but any day spent with lovely friends is a good day to me.
